Complex historical and cultural legacies and the interaction of major religions have created a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-confessional mosaic that survives until today – the Balkans.
We will meet with Milena Vasiljević Waern, an archaeologist and expert in cultural heritage of Serbia and the Balkans, to discuss:
👉 The story of the name “Balkans”
👉 Historical legacies and distribution of nations, languages and states

Together we will figure out why some holidays are so important here and what traditions everyone should know about.
