Startup Scanner 2022 report offers a detailed analysis of the environment in which innovative domestic technology companies focused on the global market operate.
The research included more than 150 domestic startups, out of a total of 360 estimated to be active in the local ecosystem. Startup Scanner 2022 enabled a better understanding of the local ecosystem, easier identification of possibilities and challenges, and opportunities for improving the ecosystem, but also for its promotion.
The data collected in this research will help recognize the strengths of the ecosystem, but also identify which areas require additional effort. These results, among other findings, speak of the importance of creating diverse and multidisciplinary teams for the development of innovative businesses.
Last year, domestic startups attracted more than 123 million euros in investments, and this year is expected to additional accelerate the pace of ecosystem development.
More than half of the startups that participated in the research estimate that their business will grow by 50 percent in 2022.
Digital Serbia Initiative will conduct the research once a year and publish the results in the form of a Startup Scanner. This year's whole report is available on the following link.
