This speech aims to reveal how the inaccessible web affects the daily life of the blind and hundreds of thousands of users depending on assistive technology. With personal stories and practical examples\, the audience will learn about the most frequent difficulties on websites this\ncommunity deals with. The participants will learn what the limits are to the speech software users\, caused by lack of knowledge or inappropriate accessibility testing. Consequently\, developers and designers will become aware of this issue and make sure their websites are technically accessible for people with disabilities.
